Unlike many parishes,  we are "gearing up" for summer.  Our regular programming comes to an end, but life here at Metigoshe does not "take a break."  Our summer worship is enhanced with the addition of 50 lively, energetic counselors leading us in singing and praising our Lord and Savior.

The Center "jumps" with different retreat groups, family reunions, and wedding parties coming and going.  Our young people are invited to take part in Day Camp and regular camping experiences at Pelican Lake.  Life at Metigoshe certainly does not "slow down" when summer arrives.

What a great reminder that God doesn't "take a vacation" either.  How good to know that when people "come to the Lake" for the weekend, they "come to worship."

Summer is indeed a busy time.  It is short in North Dakota and there is much to "get done."

In the midst of the chaos, take a moment each and every day to remember that God is present and active to bring peace and order to the chaos.  Give thanks for the beauty of His creation and the life and energy to enjoy it.  Join us for Spirit-filled worship each Sunday morning at either 9 or 10:30.  Visit our camp site at Pelican Lake for the Wednesday evening Christ Hike or the Friday afternoon musical or stop at the Christian Center for a cup of coffee and some "quiet time" on the deck or a bit of conversation with Center staff.

Summer may be busy, but it can also be a time of renewal and energizing when we focus on God and what God has done for us in the person of His Son and the through the power of His Spirit.

Come see us; we're expecting you!

Peace,
